About
Botanic Pledge expands Botania with Norse mythology, adding new gear, artifacts, rituals, and mana-focused mechanics. Its equipment includes Yggdrasilsteel armor and weapons such as the Yggd Ramus, alongside artifacts like the Ring of Aesir, Ull’s teleporting bow, and the speed-enhancing Conquering Sash. New runes, including Thurisaz and Laguz, enable crafting weapons and artifacts that can be enhanced at the Modification Altar; divine rituals use Yggdralium Shards at a new ritual structure to create further items. The addon also introduces mana tools such as the Yggdral Spreader and Mana Buffer, and the Thunder Lily, which generates mana from lightning. For crafting and equipment progression, the Core Altar provides a way to craft, upgrade, or alter certain items, while Vedrfolnir’s Core is an upgradable Curio; four protectors progress from Mana and Terra through Gaia to Yggdral. A major combat challenge is the Yggdrasil Guardian, a boss intended to test players against a stronger foe than Botania’s Gaia Guardians.
