Clans is a server-side Forge mod that gives multiplayer servers command-based land claiming, protection, and raiding without requiring players to install the mod themselves. Players form clans that share claimed territory and its resources: outsiders are blocked from building or breaking blocks, using doors and machines, and taking items from chests, while clan members and their pets are protected from other players and pets on clan land. Clan members can invite and manage players through ranks, set a shared home for members to teleport to, use private clan chat, and configure access to individual blocks or all lockable blocks in a chunk. Server settings can make forming clans, claiming land, upkeep, and member rent cost in-game currency, with economy functions supported through Grand Economy or Sponge-based economies. Players outside a target clan can join a raiding party and start a raid, temporarily gaining the ability to build, break blocks, and attack players and pets on the target's land. During a raid, broken blocks do not drop items and placed blocks are temporary; when the raid ends, the territory is normally restored, and raiders can collect their placed blocks, though rollback can be disabled by server configuration. By default, raiders cannot break chests, furnaces, or other machines or access their contents, but they can kill clan animals and trample crops, which are not restored after a raid. A winning raid can pay a configurable reward from the target clan's account to the raiders, while a losing raid sends its creation fee to the clan; server owners can also disable raiding altogether. Operators can protect common areas with non-raidable server clans and can configure protection for unclaimed Wilderness while still allowing underground mining. Claim maps show nearby clan territory, and clans can set colors that distinguish them on the larger map and in Dynmap.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.13.2.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.13.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.13.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
