Clay Soldiers Remake brings the miniature army-building gameplay of the classic mod back to Minecraft, letting you craft tiny soldiers, dye them into color-coded teams, and set them loose in battles where opposing soldiers fight automatically. Soldiers pick up nearby equipment to improve or change how they fight: sticks, bones, and blaze rods provide melee weapons, while leather and bricks add protection and a Clay Horse gives them faster movement. The equipment also creates distinctive abilities and roles: amethyst shards grant invisibility, emeralds call down lightning, chorus fruit lets soldiers teleport to their targets, glistering melon slices make them heal allies, and diamonds transform them into queens. Other items enable underwater breathing, gliding, ranged attacks, explosions on death, revival, and transformations into kings, wraiths, or zombies, so players can build varied armies rather than relying on weapons and armor alone. Datapacks can add or modify equipment, armor appearances, interactable items and blocks, teams, mounts, and item-set categories, extending the soldiers’ gear and behavior with custom content. The /csr items command can scatter randomized or uniform equipment from categories such as basic weapons, ranged gear, armor, support, underwater equipment, fire and explosion gear, magic, and royalty; team commands can assign colors and set which player a team follows or defends.
