    About

    Cobblemon Breeding API provides basic Pokémon breeding for Cobblemon and exposes events that mod developers can use to extend or customize breeding mechanics. For players, an Egg Basket breeds eligible Pokémon within an 11-by-11-by-11 area, including Pokémon on pastures and those sent out by you or other trainers; after roughly one to two minutes, an egg for each valid pair can appear in the basket, up to a configurable limit. Players can collect eggs by right-clicking the basket, and eggs take a variable amount of time to hatch; configuration can show an estimate in the tooltip and progress on a durability bar. A configuration option also allows wild Pokémon to lay eggs in a basket placed in the wilderness. Developers can use the API’s events to override breeding steps and egg-generation results, including eligible pairs, egg species, nature, gender, moves, abilities, IVs, and breeding or hatching timing.
