About
Cobblemon Picnic adds picnic tables that let players refresh nearby wild Pokémon spawns on demand, making it easier to hunt for a particular species or a shiny without roaming to find new spawns. Re-rolls use bread from the table’s basket or a nearby picnic basket, and the settings can be adjusted in game, including an option to disable spawn manipulation. Players can sit at the table to raise shiny odds, with a full table doubling them; six table types include Basic, Advanced and Expert, plus versions for underwater, the Nether and the End. Tables can be customized with 176 cloth-and-wood combinations, and their cloth can be dyed in place. The mod also adds ways to care for Pokémon: washing them and playing fetch can increase friendship, with crafted sponge and fetchball tools that are reusable. An Expert table can use a Battle Seeker to call a trainer for a battle instead of producing a normal spawn re-roll. Re-rolls and shiny catches are tracked in statistics, and the mod’s furniture recipes can also use furniture from Handcrafted and CobbleFurnies.
