    About

    Cobblemon Fight or Flight Reborn adds combat beyond standard Pokémon battles and lets your Pokémon defend you from hostile Minecraft mobs such as zombies and skeletons. Wild Pokémon may flee or fight when attacked or after a failed capture, with their response shaped by their offensive and defensive stats, level, and nature; particularly aggressive Pokémon can also attack nearby players, a behavior that is configurable and disabled by default. Your Pokémon use a move from their move set to attack, with damage influenced by the move and the Pokémon’s stats, and the Poke Staff lets you choose which move to use. Attacks can be melee or ranged, and ranged moves vary in behavior: some fire projectiles, while explosive moves can blast targets and HP-draining moves can restore the attacker’s health. Move effects can also translate into Minecraft status effects, including fire and weakness from burns, poison, slowness from paralysis, and confusion. Outside traditional battles, Pokémon can earn experience and EVs by defeating Pokémon, and can evolve through move-use requirements, such as Primeape using Rage Fist repeatedly. Defeated mobs drop items and experience as they would when killed by a tamed wolf, while the held Oran Lucky Egg increases experience from Pokémon your Pokémon defeat. Configuration options let players tune aggression and damage, decide which Pokémon are always or never aggressive, and enable or disable several of the added mechanics.
