    About

    Colds Steel adds weapons that gain XP with each attack, rank up over time, and receive a random ability at each new rank, so weapons of the same type can develop differently. Weapons can be found in Cold Steel Chests, obtained through Wandering Trader and villager trades, creature drops, or world events; chests may also contain Ability Stones, XP Bottles, and Ingots. XP Bottles instantly rank up a weapon, while Cold Steel Ingots repair weapons and can be made by smelting one; Cold Steel Ore and recipes for crafting chests and processing ingots into Essence provide additional ways to obtain these materials. The weapon selection includes tridents with Poseidon's Call, which grants Dolphins Grace, as well as lightsabers and the Mighty Carrot. A weapon's weight affects how strongly it knocks back targets, and Cold Steel weapons can also use Mending and Looting enchantments.
