Cosmos Infinia is a space-exploration mod built around travelling from Earth to alien worlds and surviving their distinct, often hazardous environments. Players build and upgrade iron, Stelliron and Voidsteel rockets and space suits, then visit the Earth Orbital Zone, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Titan, Europa, the Asteroid Belt and Ecliptron. Each destination offers resources and terrain to explore: examples include lunar silica on the Moon, Aresium and Carbognite on Mars, Uranium and Plutonium on Venus, and Accelerite ore, ice fields and coral plains on Europa. Planetary conditions include low gravity, oxygen deprivation, radiation, frostbite and toxins; suit oxygen and radiation protection help players withstand these hazards, while the helmet display reports conditions such as temperature, oxygen, location and radiation. Rocket platforms provide destination selection and a launch countdown, while a starting guidebook offers information about celestial bodies and advancements provide guidance and rewards as players progress. The mod also adds space-themed building materials and station components, including sliding doors, durable glass, gardens, tunnels, orb cores and rocket launch rooms that can be arranged with placement tools. Its technology systems let players process gases and make Astro-Fuel, generate and store power, extract materials from planetary rock, and supply oxygen through chargers or oxygen generators that release breathable air into enclosed spaces. Other additions include Astro-Chests and Astro-Packs for storage, jetpack and dashing boot upgrades, alien Ecliptrids and their aggressive mutations, and edible fish found on Mars and Titan.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 150 blocks, 146 items, 11 mobs, 16 biomes, 9 dimensions, 21 structures, 1 enchantment, 177 recipes, 110 advancements, 2 loot tables, 10 sounds and 6 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

More modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 7 a month now, 3 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
74 modpacks include Cosmos Infinia in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Cosmos Infinia. Share: how many of the modpacks with Cosmos Infinia also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
