    About

    Refined Storage lets you build an expandable network that stores and organizes items and fluids, bringing connected storage into one Grid for viewing, inserting, and retrieving resources. The network can use storage disks in Disk Drives or storage blocks placed directly in the world, and its devices connect through cables or by sitting next to one another; when energy is required, a Controller powers the network. Importers, exporters, constructors, and destructors move or manipulate items and blocks between the network and the world. For automated crafting, players define recipes with patterns and put them in Autocrafters, then request crafted resources from a Grid; intermediate ingredients need their own patterns if they are not already available. Crafting previews can show a live simulation and let players set quantities, while task monitors track or cancel jobs and speed upgrades make Autocrafters work faster. Processing patterns also support fluid recipes, including jobs that combine item and fluid inputs or outputs and send materials to external machines for processing. Storage blocks can be filtered, assigned insertion and extraction priorities, and controlled by redstone, offering a configurable alternative to disk-based storage.
