CustomThings lets modpack creators add their own content to Minecraft through JSON configuration, without building a separate custom mod. It supports custom items and blocks, including blocks with configurable materials, shapes such as stairs, slabs, and gravity-affected blocks, mining properties, light levels, textures, and drops. Creators can also define complete tool sets with chosen tool types, mining level, durability, efficiency, damage, and repair material, as well as armor with configurable durability and damage protection. The mod adds custom achievements organized into pages and parent-linked progression, unlocked by crafting, picking up items, killing entities, or breaking blocks. Custom crafting content includes shaped and shapeless recipes, plus furnace-smelting recipes with configurable output amounts and experience. It also supports custom music discs, with creator-supplied audio files and an option to make a disc available through the usual creeper-and-skeleton drop method. Custom items and blocks can be given icons, localized names, and multi-line tooltips through image and language files.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
