About
Dangers in the Darkness adds ten dangerous creatures that make exploration across the Overworld, Nether, and End more hazardous. The Daunt prowls swamps, dark forests, taigas, and other wet biomes, while the ghostly Arm appears only in soul sand valleys and senses nearby players by their heartbeat. In caves, the Rock Tentacle attacks nearby creatures from a fixed spot, and the Dracoflora is usually docile but can turn deadly when disturbed. The Arboreal Colossus disguises itself as a tree in taiga forests, while the Scuddler usually flees but can poison and weaken players when cornered. The Fever Dream may join a fight after a monster is killed, and the Monolith hunts endermen and adventurers in the End. In the oceans, the Maw Manta hunts sailors in deep waters, while the enormous Capsizer ambushes prey from the depths and primarily feeds on Maw Mantas. Defeating a Dracoflora can yield a reward capable of guarding a home.
