About
Dave's Building Extended adds decorative and functional building blocks for Create-oriented factories and trains, with textures based on vanilla for a compatible aesthetic. Its factory and industrial details include steel boilers and tanks, colored steel plating, steam exhausts, funnels, buffers, pilots, pressure plates, stairs, slabs, doors, and trapdoors, with recipes for many of these blocks. Train-focused additions include smokebox doors and caps, locomotive faces such as Thomas and Charles, offset lights, and buffer-track details; showcased builds include steam trains such as the Flying Scotsman, Marshall's Big Boy, the Polar Express, and Snowpiercer. The mod also includes ambience-related systems and computer-themed blocks, along with ASCII letter and number blocks, particle effects, and ducks. Some features add interactive character: skeletons can be named when powered by redstone.
