    About

    DynamicRenderDistance is a client-side mod that automatically raises or lowers Minecraft’s render distance according to your average FPS, helping maintain performance in demanding areas while allowing farther views when performance permits. You can set FPS thresholds and minimum and maximum chunk distances, along with the size of each adjustment, the check interval, and a cooldown that helps prevent rapid changes. Quality, Balanced, and Performance presets provide quick configuration, while an optional color-coded HUD shows current FPS and render distance; in-game settings and chat commands let you configure and check the mod. It runs entirely on the client, so it works in singleplayer and on vanilla or modded multiplayer servers without server installation.
