Dystopia expands Minecraft with an Overworld-to-dimension adventure centered on knight enemies, exploration, valuable ores, equipment, and boss fights. In the Overworld, players can find Steel, Ruby, and Lifestone ores, build with blocks such as Cinder Stone and Withered Nether Bricks, and explore Knight Towers and Knight Fortresses. Silver Knights patrol snowy tundras and ice spikes, while Black Knights and Decaying Knights add further threats; defeating enemies and looting structures helps prepare for the dimension journey. The mod also adds specialized gear before that journey, including swords that slow or wither enemies, Crying tools that drain life, armor with extra effects, and Life Shards that restore health. To enter Dystopia, players build a Nether-like portal from Withered Cobblestone and ignite it with a Souless Flower, after exploring, fighting knights, and looting towers. The dimension has six biomes, including Corrupted Forests and Smouldering Plains, with distinct terrain and structures such as the Traveller’s Hut, Apprentice Tower, Elyanna’s Temple, and Overseeker’s Arena. Its inhabitants include Corrupted Knights, Apprentices, and Golden Knights, while Elyanna and the Overseeker are bosses found in their respective temple and arena; the Overseeker can summon other mobs to assist it. Dystopia’s ores support progression into powerful equipment: Ketzin and Chemical Remains are used for Polyanite gear, while Cinder Lifestone makes Life Shards. Later challenges reward distinctive weapons and armor, including a Golden Knight’s Sword that briefly increases speed, a Poisonous Sword, Polyanite gear upgraded from the Crying set, and Flaming gear that offers stronger protection or damage. The Smouldering Plains also provide materials for Flaming equipment, whose weapons set enemies on fire and regenerate the user’s health, while its armor can ignite attackers and grant effects such as resistance, strength, jump boost, or speed.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 73 blocks, 119 items, 11 mobs, 6 biomes, 1 dimension, 188 recipes, 29 advancements, 21 loot tables and 14 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
