This author published many projects at once on Modrinth: up to 16 projects published within 2 weeks. 16 of the author's 20 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
Extra Creeper Types expands the hostile-mob roster with 23 additional creeper variants, adding new threats and behaviors to exploration and combat. The variants have distinct attacks and effects: Bombing Creepers explode into TNT, Rocket Creepers carry nearby targets skyward before detonating, and Dispensing Creepers fire random projectiles and explode when weakened. Other hazards include the fire-immune Withering Creeper, which shoots wither skulls and leaves a damaging wither cloud, the Shaman Creeper, which buffs hostile mobs and empowers ordinary creepers, and the oversized Puff Creeper, whose powerful blast leaves a poison cloud. The roster also includes unusual encounters such as the magnetic variant that pulls nearby entities in, the armored variant that resists projectiles, explosions, and fire before transforming into a normal creeper, and the Ghost Creeper, which can fly and explode without damaging terrain. More playful and environmental types round out the collection: Musical Creepers play notes before exploding and drop a note block, Polar Creepers burst into snow, and Halloween Creepers release bats when enabled in the configuration. Creepers appear in different locations and conditions, including snow biomes, swamps, beaches, the Nether, and nighttime encounters, while the Fourth of July and Halloween variants are disabled by default and can be enabled through configuration. The mod also adds enchantments including Creeper Slayer, which increases damage against most new types, Explosive Sweep, which creates an attack-triggered blast, Magnetic Body, which draws nearby living beings toward the wearer, and Creeper Repel, which pushes the new creepers away.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Adds 1 item, 24 mobs and 5 enchantments.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
