Extra Delight expands Farmer’s Delight with more ways to grow ingredients, prepare food, and furnish a working kitchen. Its workstations give cooking distinct steps: ovens slowly bake recipes with heat and suitable bakeware, dough shaping stations form pasta and cookies, mixing bowls combine ingredients and fluids, mortars grind ingredients, and drying racks turn foods into snacks or ingredients for further processing. Other stations extend the process with melting pots that turn solids into liquids, chillers that set liquids into treats, vats for fermenting, curing, and pickling through multi-stage processes, evaporators that dry fluids into goods such as salt, and juicers that extract fruit juice. The mod adds crops and plants including cinnamon, ginger, mint, corn, chili, peanuts, hazelnuts, coffee, garlic, cucumbers, soybeans, lemons, and oranges; they grow in biome-tagged environments, so can appear in modded as well as vanilla biomes, and bees can pollinate them. Ingredients can be carried between stations and stored as fluids: funnels transfer fluids among equipment such as mixing bowls, mortars, kegs, jars, and chillers, while jars hold up to a bucket and kegs hold up to eight buckets of one fluid. The food range spans savory meals such as fried foods, salads, pasta, burgers, and cereals; desserts including custards, ice creams, and baked goods; candies, drinks, cookies, and snacks such as chips, popcorn, and jerky, with additional meat dishes and feasts available alongside Butchercraft or a compatible meat mod. Recipes can involve a longer kitchen workflow: coffee cherries, for example, are dried, roasted, and ground before being made into coffee, which can then be combined with ice cream to make affogato. Extra Delight also adds kitchen and pantry furnishings, including spice racks, knife blocks, half cabinets, sinks, countertop cabinets with configurable surfaces, food displays, jar displays, and storage crates and sacks; decorative options include 16-color wallpaper, gingham blocks and carpets, wreaths, and hanging foods. An offset spatula changes patterns on frosted gingerbread and chocolate blocks and restyles compatible kitchen items, while its wooden additions include cinnamon and fruit wood sets.
