Factory Tech is a technology mod for building intricate automated production lines, with its challenge focused on engineering and coordinating processes rather than supplying machines with power. Instead of power, machines consume replaceable parts that gradually wear out, making automated production and distribution of those parts central to keeping a factory running. Its machinery covers resource processing and crafting, including a River Grate that generates metal in rivers, a Chop Saw for turning logs into planks, a Drill Grinder that doubles ore output as dust, a Centrifuge and Magnetic Centrifuge for separating materials, and a Crucible and Refrigerator for converting between solids and liquids. Other machines handle larger or specialized tasks: the Mining Machine digs a resource-producing hole, the Mob Disassembler yields extra monster loot, the Fluid Drill extracts sulphur and propane, and the Potion Mixer combines potion effects. The mod also includes equipment for working with mechanical parts and energy cores, from the Tempering Oven that makes parts last longer to the Core Charger, Stabilization Table, and Biosynthesis Unit, which use charged cores in processes including mob spawning. Further automation and utility devices include a Universal Supercharger that uses energy cores to speed adjacent machines, a Mob Disruptor that immobilizes nearby monsters, a Negative Ion Disperser that gives players positive potion effects, and a Tesla Coil that zaps nearby creatures not wearing full chainmail. A Blueprint Collection introduces the mod’s systems, while machine recipes and part lifetimes can be configured, including through CraftTweaker for recipe changes and overhauls.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Adds 165 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
