Player-like helpers that work, guard, and haul items for you.
60.2 of the 71 points that apply = 85 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Fake Players adds player-like helpers that can use skins from player names, URLs, local files, or a trending list, wear armour, carry inventories, and wander, sit, sleep, chat, or fight hostile mobs. Bond a fake through its management menu and assign it a job by placing the waypoints, work regions, and chest markers that job needs; its menu shows the relevant markers, and working fakes visibly open the containers they use. Jobs include Follow and Idle, Guard patrols that attack nearby hostiles, Miner quarrying that banks selected ore, Lumberjack tree-felling with replanting, and Courier transfers between chests. Farmers till, water, plant seeds including modded crops, and harvest and replant them, while Fishermen cast a real bobber, use rod enchantments, bank their catch, and replace broken rods from a chest. Crafters learn recipes from examples, fetch ingredients, lay them out by hand at a crafting table, and deposit the results, so their output can feed another job's supplies. The mod also supports a Quartermaster and Runners for managing and replenishing supplies, stock boxes for keeping a fake equipped, and options for fakes to keep working while you are away or to be possessed and controlled directly. Fakes can ride boats, minecarts, and seats, drive Create trains, and work with supported storage mods such as Storage Drawers and Sophisticated Storage.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 5 items: AI Marker, Robot AI, Player Egg, Slim Player Egg and Robot Shell; 1 key binding: Open Fake Player Menu; 3 recipes and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

72 modpacks include Fake Players in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Fake Players. Share: how many of the modpacks with Fake Players also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 1 point.
