A horror pack with eerie creatures, haunted places, and spooky events.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 138 graded mods, 111 are graded A or B, 23 C and 4 D to F. Its last update came out today, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
From the Fog Reimagined is a vanilla-friendly horror modpack inspired by Calvin’s From the Fog and other Minecraft horror creators, adding unsettling encounters and atmospheric gameplay to Minecraft. Players may encounter the Man from the Fog, the Midnight Lurker, Whispering Spirits, the Cave Dweller, and the watcher, while exploring fog-covered landscapes, the Graveyard, and foreboding caves. Custom events respond to players’ actions, bringing unexpected challenges and escalating tension; the pack also uses loud disturbing sounds and flashing jumpscares.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 23 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 15 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 137 of its 138 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 132 of its 133 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 108 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
25 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
