About
Fractured rebalances the journey to the End by making players explore for Fractured Eyes before they can complete the stronghold portal, while retaining the vanilla ingredients used to craft Eyes of Ender. Fractured Eyes can appear in loot from structures including abandoned mineshafts, desert pyramids, jungle temples, shipwrecks, dungeons, bastions, ancient cities, and buried-treasure caches. Repair a Fractured Eye with an Ender Pearl and Blaze Powder to make an Eye of Ender; once in the End, Chorus Fruit can be used as an alternative in that recipe. The first Fractured Eye discovery grants the “And So It Begins” advancement and unlocks the Eye of Ender recipe in the recipe book. Text-based configuration lets players and modpack developers adjust or disable eye-spawn chances for individual structures and choose whether stronghold portal frames generate with eyes already in them.
