Legacies 26 is a heavily customized, vanilla-style Minecraft overhaul that reshapes familiar survival into a more integrated adventure, with expanded gear progression and an advancement path that guides players from early copper equipment toward the Ender Dragon. Its world includes more than 20 added biomes and upgrades to familiar ones, with examples such as the Frozen Caves, Golden Forest, Pine Taiga, Maple Forest, Oasis, and Lavender Fields. Exploration ranges across rare and rebuilt structures, including Ruined Libraries, Catacombs, Remnants, dungeons, Obelisks, and revamped Strongholds, with rewards such as artifacts, Tablets, and weapons including the Katana and Boomerang. The Nether has new materials, ore veins, structures, and overhauled terrain, while the End journey involves collecting and repairing Fractured Eyes before facing a renewed dragon and exploring expanded outer isles with new biomes, mobs, and structures. Gear progression adds varied routes and materials, while combat changes equipment balance and regeneration and gives shields a blocking-strength meter and timed parries; Quivers support ranged fighting by storing multiple arrow types. Enchanting and repairing are rebuilt around customizable attributes such as Mana, Frost, and Scorch, with specialized bookshelves, Tomes, Altars, and a wider selection of enchantments, curses, and blessings. The pack also includes collectible lore and sherds, distinctive creatures such as Mooblooms and Penguins, and a substantially expanded soundtrack and ambient audio. Recent additions include Sulfur Caves and collectible Sulfur Cubes, Abandoned Camps, improved maps, End Havens, and an in-game music player with configurable playback. Players can join Legacies' public multiplayer servers or open a world for friends through peer-to-peer play, and the pack includes an in-game Friends and Multiplayer feature.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · Fabric, 8 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 5 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 166 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 163 of its 166 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 21 of the 164 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
