Friday the 13th: Jason Voorhees brings the film slasher into Minecraft as a forest-dwelling threat that stalks and hunts the player. Jason can appear in forest biomes after the first in-game day, usually at night, and appears more often in the Fir Forest; an option allows him to spawn during the day. Rather than always attacking immediately, he may watch from a distance, wander nearby, wait for the player to notice him, or approach a house and attack through its windows. During a chase he can break doors and glass, grab nearby players who must struggle free, and search the area after losing sight of them, with an on-screen bar indicating when he is searching nearby. A phantom arm may also appear underwater and pull the player down, while Jason’s hits can inflict an injury that slows movement and prevents sprint-jumping. The mod adds the Fir Forest biome, with distinctive fir trees and buildable fir wood, along with large and small fir cabins and campsites that may vary slightly and can also appear in Taigas using spruce wood. New items include the Heart of the Slasher, which grants Strength III and Water Breathing while carried, and the Slasher’s Machete, a slower but more damaging sword-like weapon. Configuration options let players adjust Jason’s spawn frequency and post-death cooldown, enable chase and search music, choose whether his speed or damage increases with blood stages, and allow daytime appearances.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
