Furnish adds decorative and functional furniture to Minecraft, with a Furniture Workbench that lets players make items from their materials through a streamlined, stonecutter-like interface. Its furniture includes cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bedside tables, tables, chairs, stools, crates, shelves and benches in wood types including Nether woods; some pieces provide storage, while chairs and stools can be sat on. Other building and decorating additions include shutters, terracotta amphoras, book piles that provide enchanting power, woolen sofas, awnings, lantern-hung buntings, curtains, chimney parts, paper lamps, paintings, and carpets or snow layers that can be placed on stairs and other blocks. Furnish also adds practical interactive objects: mailboxes and letters, plates for displaying food, redstone-powered showcases that act as turntables, disk racks, lockers, support-free ladders, a bookshelf chest for books, and a trash can that can be emptied by hand or redstone. Players can knock on doors, cycle a painting's art by using another painting on it, and use dice blocks that generate a random number when placed. The mod includes Halloween-themed gravestones, coffins that can only be slept in during daytime, cobweb designs, skull torches, and iron-bar decorations. Mod and modpack makers can add their own blocks to the Furniture Workbench using Furnish's furniture-making recipe type.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses..
Adds 309 blocks, 1 item, 17 paintings, 304 recipes, 4 advancements and 19 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
