    Gargoyles Mod adds sentinel gargoyles that defend their posts and attack hostile mobs, offering a more precise and controllable alternative to iron golems. The gargoyles have distinct variants, including stone, sandstone, obsidian, golden, iron, End Stone, Netheratic, and evil types, with configurable combat traits such as health, damage, speed, and attack cooldown. They use perches, and their healing differs between favored and ordinary perches; the mod also includes a randomly generated Evil Cathedral, described as a challenging structure on the scale of a woodland mansion. Construction matters: gargoyles must face west or south and have two iron-block wings at the back, while an incorrectly built form can produce an evil gargoyle.
