    About

    GeoSmelt is a vanilla-plus content mod that expands Minecraft with a progression of ores, distinctive gear, hostile creatures, a boss, and decorative building blocks. Its ore progression extends beyond Netherite through materials such as Viradium, Dark Iron, Starcinium, Mithril, and Adamantium, with deposits distributed across settings including cold biomes, the Nether, the End, jungles, deserts, and warm oceans. The metals bring different qualities and uses: Adamantium armor increases damage, Starcinium is described as lightweight and durable, and Dark Iron serves as a catalyst for higher-tier gear. The mob roster includes Nether, cave, ice, desert, and Emperor scorpions; underground Fiends that heal from hits and can turn invisible; fire-vulnerable Spriggans; armored Skeleton Warriors; and poison-spitting Jungle Tarantulas. Other encounters include Soul Creepers in Nether Soul Sand Valleys, Galaxy Champion-spawned Blights, and Deep Iron and Starcinium golems. The Galaxy Champion is a combat challenge that rewards a Core of Galaxius for upgrading Starcinium gear, while its true form can yield Ascendant Cores for further upgrades. Crumblers add three ogre-like variants: normal Crumblers are docile until attacked, while cave and fire variants react to light conditions; they can break blocks to reach players, but stop their rampage when reduced to 25 health. The mod also adds crafting and combat uses for its creatures’ drops, including scorpion stingers for a poisoned dagger, Shadow Essence for Dark Steel and Shadow Rage potions, and Crumbler hearts for the Obsidian Hammer and Crusher.
