GSOC Compat is a compatibility patch for Galosphere, Spelunkery, Oreganized, and Caverns & Chasms that removes overlapping content, fixes bugs, and adds recipes and quality-of-life tweaks. It standardizes salt by replacing Spelunkery salt patches with andesite, letting Galosphere pink salt shards be ground into Spelunkery salt, and giving pink salt blocks Spelunkery’s salt properties. For silver, it uses Oreganized’s version in place of Galosphere and Caverns & Chasms silver across world generation, loot, and recipes, and retextures related items to match; it also adds Caverns & Chasms Spinel ore variants in andesite, diorite, granite, and tuff, along with rough spinel, spinel shards, rough spinel shards, and rough spinel blocks. The patch includes further adjustments such as making Oreganized silver blocks usable as beacon bases, removing colored glowsticks from loot, adding and updating recipes and advancements, and fixing ore-generation and mining-drop issues. It also provides compatibility changes for Quark, Create, Alex’s Caves, Guard Villagers, Sully’s Mod, Nethelurgy, and Endelurgy, including utility recipes, corrected ore drops, Sterling Armor for guards, and mining or grinding behavior aligned with Spelunkery’s progression.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 13 blocks, 6 items, 151 recipes, 17 advancements and 2 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with GSOC Compat: their authors or GSOC Compat's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as GSOC Compat, so you only need one.
