Adds new plants and wildlife to familiar biomes.
57.8 of the 64 points that apply = 90 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Habitat expands the Overworld’s existing biomes with plants, unusual vegetation, and wildlife rather than adding new biomes in the described content. Its additions include Rafflesia and Anthuriums in jungles, Kabloom bushes in plains, Slime Ferns in Slime Chunks below Y=40, four colored Ball Cacti in deserts and badlands, Edelweiss shrubs in cold mountains, and Dreadbuds in roofed forests. Rafflesia releases a poison cloud when an entity touches it, and a suspicious stew can change the cloud’s effect. Fully grown Kabloom bushes drop fruit that explodes when disturbed, while thrown fruit also bursts, dealing damage and knockback; its pulp can be eaten or brewed into Blast Endurance potions. Ball Cacti grow through several stages, prick entities on contact, and yield flowers and cactus that can be used to make suspicious stews or brewed into Prickling potions. Slime Ferns mark Slime Chunks with dripping slime particles, can grow when bonemeal is used in those chunks, and can be placed on walls, ceilings, or floors. Rare Fairy Rings of mushrooms generate in dark forests, including huge mushrooms, and host Pooka, hostile rabbit-like mobs that can inflict negative effects and gain beneficial ones when hurt. Players can pacify Pooka with golden carrots; pacified Pooka follow players holding food and can sometimes grant them a beneficial effect. Passerines, or songbirds, inhabit forests, birch forests, taigas, jungles, flower forests, savannas, and groves, with variants that fly and sing by day, sleep in trees at night, and shelter from rain or snow. Compatibility adds practical crafting and gameplay links: Enhanced Mushrooms can make Fairy Ring Mushroom stems into a wood set, Farmer’s Delight treats the mushrooms as compost activators, and Abnormals Core advancement modifiers recognize Habitat’s added foods, effects, and mobs.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: World generationChanges 3 game code files in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created. and Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 47 blocks, 8 items, 2 mobs, 1 boat, 1 other entity, 1 structure, 33 recipes, 5 advancements, 2 loot tables and 29 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
