About
Hardmode Mining Rarer Ores increases the challenge of resource gathering by reducing copper, iron, gold, and diamond yields and making their deposits less common. Regular ore blocks yield only two nuggets when mined or smelted, while rare Rich Ore blocks are 4.5 times as valuable and generate at a quarter of the normal ore spawn rate. The mod adds Copper Nuggets and Diamond Shards, with Diamond Shards serving as diamond equivalents to nuggets, and its default settings make raw resources occur at about 40% of their usual amount.
