Hostile Water Monsters adds hostile aquatic and amphibious creatures, making waters and nearby habitats more dangerous through distinct behaviors and custom loot. River Guardians appear in rivers, lakes, ponds, flooded caves, and ocean depths; four biome-adapted species include temperate, icy, fiery, and albino variants, each with different prey and aggression, and they defend territory against other creatures. Slippery Biters are tooth-chattering fish found around wet areas, sunken ruins, and ships; they may suddenly slip behind nearby players, while larger, rarer individuals pose a greater hazard. Gurties are spiny amphibians that move between water and land, becoming more hostile in darkness and rain; when angered, they glow and deploy spines that damage melee attackers. Gurties also guard grass-like nests that contain fishing loot, returning to them regularly and attacking intruders; their appearance and behavior can vary by biome. Poisonous Watersnakes inhabit ponds, rivers, and swamps, keeping their distance to spit poison but also delivering a damaging bite at close range. The creatures have distinct drops and uses: River Guardian scales can be crafted into prismarine crystals or smelted into purple dye, Slippery Biter scales into prismarine scales or light blue dye, and Watersnake hides into leather or cyan dye; some glands provide temporary effects such as underwater breathing or faster swimming. Configuration options let players adjust hostile-mob spawn weights and caps, and set a block-light level that prevents spawning near lit areas.

Not checked yet
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in it yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
