About
Iguanas Tinker Tweaks is a Tinkers’ Construct addon that changes tool progression and adds configurable crafting and material rules. Tools gain levels with random bonuses and bonus modifiers, while pickaxes begin one harvest level below their full effectiveness and can earn mining-level experience to unlock it; mob heads can also boost a pickaxe’s mining level instantly. The addon slows and reshapes material progression through tiers including wood, flint, copper, iron, bronze, obsidian, ardite, cobalt and manyullyn, and adjusts mining levels and some material stats accordingly. Players can swap a tool part for a new one, with optional experience costs, and reusable tool parts let parts be crafted into other parts; pattern tooltips show which materials are allowed for each part. It adds mob heads with configurable drop chances and beheading effectiveness, and introduces clay buckets that can carry water, lava, milk and Tinkers’ Construct liquids, but break when used with hot materials such as lava. Other configurable changes include tool durability and speed, repair limits, restrictions on which materials can make particular parts, and crafting and harvesting rules for non-Tinkers’ tools.
