Infernal Expansion Redux rebuilds Infernal Expansion with its own evolving take on Nether content, centered on the Glowstone Canyon biome. The Canyon combines glowstone stalagmites and stalactites with Shimmer Sand, pits hidden by falling Glimmer Gravel, and Luminous Fungus that lights up as you approach; touching the fungus or prickly Dullthorns gives you the Luminous effect, which attracts local creatures. Glowsquitos drain Glowstone, Dimstone, and Shroomlights, changing them into Dimstone, Dullstone, and Hollowlight, while Blindsights hunt Glowsquitos and other creatures and use their tongues to knock targets back. The Luminous effect also shapes encounters: Glowsquitos swarm affected players, and Blindsights aggressively target luminous entities, so the light that helps reveal the Canyon can put you in danger. Defeating Glowsquitos yields Glowcoke for crafting Glowlight versions of ordinary light sources, and Blindsight tongues can be cooked into stew. The mod also adds Glowsilk Moths, which drop Glowsilk String, and Glowsilk Bows whose arrows leave light effects and, with Afterimages installed, afterimage trails. Exploration includes Ruined Aether Portals with varied loot, while Luminous Fungus can be grown into huge trees and used to make a Luminous wood set. Additional content includes Glowlight torches, lanterns and campfires, Shimmer Stone and Basalt variants, throwable Magma Cream and Fire Charges, and bucketable baby Striders and Magma Cubes. Compatibility adds content or interactions with mods including Jaden's Nether Expansion, Gardens of the Dead, Cinderscapes, Create, Caverns & Chasms, Environmental, Autumnity, LambDynamicLights, and Afterimages. Configuration options include control over Glowsquito block-draining, Luminous Fungus activation distance, and whether Blindsights extinguish fires or eat baby mobs.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
