Into The Void adds a dangerous dimension beneath bedrock, where players can enter by falling into the void or use gas-powered Null Blocks to travel between the dimension and the Overworld. The dimension contains Void Trees with harvestable fruit, rare explorer camps that can provide a bed and crafting table, ruined houses with chests, and a boss arena where the Keeper can be summoned. Its inhabitants include the intermittently invisible, fast Void Inhabitant; the hostile Withered Allay; parasites that can inflict an infection; and tameable Shadow Golems, while the Keeper’s Servants support the boss during its fight. The Keeper is a three-phase boss whose attacks escalate from summoning parasites and launching players upward to explosions, debilitating effects, and paralysis; defeating it releases parasites that threaten anyone seeking its loot. A gas-sealing mechanic lets players extract a distinct gas from each world, using an oxygen sealer with an empty bottle and slimeball, with foliage speeding extraction; Overworld oxygen helps replenish air underwater, Nether Gas is flammable and explosive, and Void Air is used to make Null Blocks. Liquid oxygen can place snow layers and turn bedrock into breakable weak bedrock, while Void Powder converts eligible blocks into void variants and void wood and voidstone provide decorative building materials. Void Shards can be combined with diamonds to make Void Ingots for upgrading Netherite equipment into Shadow gear, including armor that grants brief invisibility, speed, and resistance when sneaking, a Wither-inflicting sword, and a pickaxe that mines a 3-by-3 area. Distorted Fruit is the dimension’s only food and can trigger paranoia, while staying in the Void can also cause paranoia that shakes the camera and produces threatening sounds; parasites inflict a separate effect that can release a damaging Void Inhabitant when it ends. A craftable balloon slows falls when held and allows slow flight when held in both hands, offering a way to manage the hazardous drops into and out of the dimension.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 24 blocks, 32 items, 6 mobs, 1 biome, 1 dimension, 3 enchantments, 34 recipes, 15 advancements, 3 loot tables and 5 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
