Blue Skies is a survival and exploration mod built around two contrasting dimensions: the bright, snowy, frigid Everbright and the warm, humid Everdawn, where insects and reptiles thrive. Players find the Gatekeeper, trade for his journal and a Zeal Lighter, then use it to activate a portal frame hidden at his home and enter either realm. Each dimension has distinct landscapes, mobs, blocks, weapons, and two major dungeons: the Everbright holds the Summoner’s Blinding Dungeon and the Nature Dungeon, while the Everdawn contains the Alchemist’s Blinding Dungeon and the Poison Dungeon. The Gatekeeper’s Blue Journal gradually unlocks information about the dimensions, their creatures, and their dungeons as players progress. The Blinding Dungeons pit players against the lightning-wielding Summoner and potion-using Alchemist; defeating each opens the path to that dimension’s next dungeon. The four-floor Nature Dungeon is a labyrinth of keys and staircases guarded by Stonlets, ending with the Starlit Crusher, a rooted tree boss vulnerable to axes and susceptible to spear stuns. The Poison Dungeon is a four-floor maze beneath a hollow, cobweb-covered maple tree, where the Arachnarch attacks with lunges and poison and calls spiders from the walls. Dungeon bosses scale in difficulty for multiplayer, and players can use a boss’s arc on its keystone to summon it again at greater difficulty for a chance at better loot. Exploration also carries environmental threats: Everbright snowstorms bring thick fog and extra enemies, while Everdawn hazards can inflict poison and fire. The mod includes a custom soundtrack and integrations for Xaero’s Minimap, Just Enough Items, and BlueMap.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
