About
Iris Veil Compat lets mods that use Veil’s rendering engine display correctly with Iris shaderpacks by integrating Veil shader code into the shaderpack’s rendering pipeline. This supports Veil-based effects such as Create: Aeronautics’ airplane wings, glass panels and contrails; for Levitite, it preserves Aeronautics’ four-point tessellation and deformation while sending its geometry and albedo through shaderpack lighting and post-processing, including opaque, translucent and shadow rendering. The mod requires Iris and works with Sodium and Veil, with Create: Aeronautics and Sable among the tested integrations; its shader cache updates when you switch or reload shaderpacks, without requiring a restart.
