KOWI's Laser Mod adds survival-friendly, customizable laser technology and related tools, armor, and crafting machines to Minecraft. Laser upgrades can change beam behavior, letting lasers deal more damage, ignite or move entities, mine blocks, or become silent and invisible; IR glasses reveal invisible beams. Mirrors redirect beams, while laser catchers capture them to produce redstone signals, enabling laser paths and circuits that can interact with blocks such as doors, trapdoors, and fence gates. Lasers and tools can be customized with upgrades for functions such as color, efficiency, and charging, and the mod also includes different laser modes and a laser projector. Controllers can operate lasers remotely, and ComputerCraft: Tweaked computers can automate them; the projector is also described as remotely controllable, though its computer control is currently noted as broken. The mod includes an in-game manual, JEI compatibility, and configurable options such as laser length, default damage, sound, and charging behavior.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.19.2.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
