    About

    Leaky helps server administrators find broken or wasteful farms and dropped-item leaks before they become performance problems, without routinely deleting all dropped items. It tracks clusters of dropped items over time, accounting for new arrivals, despawns, player pickups and cluster age; after a grace period, clusters can move from observation through suspicious and leak states toward cleanup. This tracking can identify wasteful farms whose item counts stay steady because newly produced items keep despawning, while allowing working farms with few dropped items to continue normally. To reduce lag while clusters are investigated or collected, Leaky limits expensive collision, fluid and movement processing for old or densely clustered items while keeping newly dropped and actively moving items responsive. Reports show a cluster’s size, state, activity and location, with clickable coordinates for reaching the affected area; notifications can be directed to nearby players, operators or everyone, and reported clusters can optionally glow. Confirmed oversized leaks can be removed automatically after configurable size and warning-delay thresholds, with recent pickups postponing cleanup; a separate emergency threshold can handle extreme concentrations immediately. Before removal, Leaky keeps cluster copies in an in-memory deletion history so they can be inspected and restored during the same server session. It also detects unusually large concentrations of other entities and extreme item concentrations in non-ticking areas, and provides commands to check tracked clusters, inspect or delete one, and review or restore recent deletions.
