A story-driven zombie survival pack set in a ruined world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 491 graded mods, 335 are graded A or B, 127 C and 29 D to F. Its last update came out 6 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Biohazard: Project Genesis is an open-world, story-driven zombie apocalypse modpack about reclaiming a surface devastated by radiation, fungal infection, and evolving horrors. A handcrafted quest campaign teaches the pack’s systems, rewards progress, conceals secrets, and advances an expanding story. Survival combines progressive infection, sanity and other survival mechanics with rare special threats and rising difficulty; parkour tools and upgraded transport help players stay alive. Players can outfit themselves with more than 100 curated firearms and melee weapons, using distinctive recipes and attachment options to customize their loadouts. The pack also features in-house systems for advanced radiation, reworked gear, unique shields, and tracking discovered structures. Custom music, animated menus, bespoke art, tuned shaders, sound overhauls, and detailed world generation shape its atmospheric presentation.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 13 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 20 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 482 of its 493 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
14 mods send something about you
We read the code of 458 of its 466 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 32 of the 393 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
73 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
