    About

    LongerDays extends the day and night by pausing the Minecraft time cycle at configurable points, rather than changing the length of each tick. By default, time pauses at noon for 10 minutes and at midnight for 5 minutes; these pauses make the day 20 minutes long and the night 15 minutes long. You can configure the pause times and durations to adjust how long each part of the cycle lasts. The longer cycle can affect mechanics and other mods that measure time in Minecraft days; for example, sleeping may not advance to morning as expected, and Minecolonies events can count multiple in-game days during one extended cycle.
