More ores to mine, with new metals for tools and armor.
27.6 of the 64 points that apply = 43 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Materials Expanded adds a configurable material and resource base for players seeking more to mine and process, and for modpack makers building around expanded materials. Its 13 metals include copper, tin, lead, aluminium, silver, osmium, zinc, tungsten, platinum, nickel, titanium, uranium and thorium, alongside seven alloys: bronze, steel, electrum, cupronickel, aluminium brass, brass and invar. Ore generation can be configured by enabling or disabling each ore and setting its height range, vein size and frequency per chunk; underground clay and terracotta generation also have options. The materials support processing ores into dusts and ingots, combining dusts into alloys, and making plates, rods and gears from materials, with 18 metal tool sets and 18 armor sets. Mortars grind ores and ingots into dusts, while hammers make plates and rods; their obsidian variants have greater durability and handle netherite, uranium and thorium. Other additions include silicon, artificial slime, saltpeter, sulfur, vanilla-material dusts, and coal and charcoal nuggets, with support for modded production of silicon and artificial slime.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 35 blocks, 317 items and 498 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
