MCA: Quests adds a datapack-driven RPG quest system to Minecraft Comes Alive: Reborn, letting you take jobs from villagers through their Quests menu, complete them in the world, and return for rewards and relationship hearts. Its 260-plus built-in quests cover farmers, fishermen, shepherds, librarians, clerics, guards, craftspeople, jobless villagers and nitwits, with additional roles such as archers, adventurers and mercenaries. Tasks range from gathering or crafting supplies, fishing and fighting enemies to visiting biomes or structures, escorting villagers, curing infections, finding missing relatives and defending a settlement. Quest offers can reflect a villager’s relationships, family, age, personality, mood, profession, health, infection and home, and quests that involve a particular person continue tracking that same NPC by name and location. Some opportunities arise from village events such as raids, deaths, infections, missing residents, food shortages or nightfall, while multi-stage relationship stories can branch according to whether earlier quests were completed, failed or abandoned. For larger shared goals, village projects let players repair infrastructure, restock a guardhouse, restore a library, supply resources, defend an area or improve facilities, with progress saved to the world and multiplayer contributions counted together. Helping villages builds reputation through the ranks of Stranger, Acquaintance, Friend, Honored and Revered, which can unlock quests and titles; a journal records standing, titles, completed quests and past accomplishments. Rewards can include items, currency, experience, status effects and relationship hearts, while a quest log, configurable HUD tracker and changing in-world markers help follow objectives and find the relevant villager. Most content is data-driven, so creators can add quests, projects and village situations without Java code, and configure progression, rewards, currency and tracking behavior. Optional integrations extend the system with Townstead’s village needs and simulation, MCA: Conversations’ dialogue, FTB Quests progression links, JourneyMap or Xaero’s Minimap waypoints, and Create: Numismatics coins as quest currency.

Changes the game's code in 1 area: Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses..

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code, text and assets
The author declares AI code, assets and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
