War 'N Taxes adds an economy and diplomacy layer to MineColonies, giving colonies a way to generate and manage income while competing with other players on multiplayer servers. Colonies collect configurable taxes based on buildings and their levels, with citizen happiness affecting revenue; military buildings also incur upkeep, and tax caps, freezes, policies, and maintenance costs shape the treasury. Players can claim tax income, inspect colony balances and tax breakdowns, and use SDMShop, physical currency, or a colony balance for payments, depending on configuration. Raids target a colony’s treasury, while full wars can involve limited lives, balanced teams, peace negotiations, and outcomes such as victory, stalemate, occupation, or vassalization. Sieges let several attackers challenge one colony and share the spoils; defenders can fight back with citizens, militia, and mercenaries, and siege settings can govern loot and objectives such as capturing a town hall. Victors can extract ongoing taxes or tribute from defeated colonies, and colony investments let players spend treasury funds on upgrades to militia, defense, raid strength, and spy capabilities. The espionage system sends spies to rival colonies to gather intelligence over time, while random tax-cycle events such as bandits, festivals, and shortages can affect colony finances and happiness. The addon also includes separate duels and team battles, with player equipment saved and restored afterward so arena fights do not alter ordinary progression.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Adds 1 key binding: Open Tax Management GUI; 1 recipe and 4 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
