Build a kingdom, explore dungeons, and survive in a fantasy world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 478 graded mods, 342 are graded A or B, 116 C and 20 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Steller: The Rise of the Kingdom is a challenging, lore-led RPG modpack built around surviving in a new world and establishing a flourishing city, while leaving room to explore, farm, hunt monsters, and raid dungeons. More than 140 quests and in-game guidebooks introduce the pack’s goals and mechanics, with progression spanning automation, technology, and magic. Its technology path includes Create machinery and contraptions, multiblock power and processing, and Thermal systems for ore processing, power, and storage; Ars Nouveau’s magic is integrated into that progression. Survival requires managing thirst, food that spoils, and temperature, while injuries to individual limbs can reduce maximum health and impose debuffs. A built-in shop uses a currency system tied to EMC, and the questbook and guidebook support different playstyles with resources and blueprints available through the shop. The world adds medieval-styled visuals, structures, and both friendly and dangerous mobs, with examples including a magic tower, wizard tower, forest tavern, Japanese village, and airship village. Players start with survival gear such as rose-quartz tools, copper armor with a water-powered jetpack, and a backpack that can be upgraded into a portable base.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 17 Sep 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 3 Sep 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 482 of its 489 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 481 of its 488 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 391 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
23 other mods show AI use only from after this release (17 Sep 2025), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
97 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
