About
MineFantasy 2 is a medieval-themed mod that makes crafting and combat more involved through interactive workstations and processes, while aiming to be easier to pick up than its predecessor. Players can shape material-based tools, weapons, armour and parts at stations such as the anvil and carpenter’s bench, using different materials and haft woods; forging can involve heating, striking and quenching workpieces. Its production systems also include crucibles for alloys, bloomeries and large or blast furnaces for smelting, plus cooking, quern milling and tanning recipes. The mod adds a kitchen bench with food recipes, and its transformation recipes can turn logs into planks, planks into slabs, and cobblestone into stone bricks when enabled in the configuration. Equipment reflects its materials and craftsmanship: vanilla tools, weapons and armour are marked as Crude to distinguish them from forged gear, and the quality system applies to crafted items. The wider world and combat include roads that speed up travel, minotaurs that can throw bombs, and ancient dragons that can spawn.
