About
Mini Extras is a collection of optional changes and additions intended to make vanilla Minecraft more convenient, with each feature independently configurable. Its recipe changes cover larger outputs for stairs, trapdoors and bark, recoloring blocks and wool, converting sand and red sand, crafting coral from coral fans, making dispensers from droppers, and turning flint into gravel, rotten flesh into leather, wool into string, or wart blocks back into nether wart. Other crafting additions include name tags and enchanted apples, while new equipment includes copper tools and wool shoes that suppress step and fall sounds; a weapon enchantment can briefly prevent creepers from igniting. Mining and progression options let silk-touch pickaxes collect spawners, budding amethyst and reinforced deepslate, make reinforced deepslate easier to mine, and extend beacon bases to increase effect range and duration. World and utility changes include wall-mounted, height-adjustable lanterns, beacons that work through lamps, water that freezes beside blue ice, faster copper oxidation in water, and a friendship orb that makes a mob friendly when used on it. Players can also upgrade spawners so they no longer require a nearby player, preserve potion effects when leaving the End, and gain extra drops such as quartz from blazes, clay from drowned, lapis from guardians, coral from tropical fish, and diamonds from the Ender Dragon.
