    About

    Mods Fixer is an experimental compatibility and diagnostics mod that aims to detect and correct problems originating inside other Minecraft mods, preserving their intended functionality where it can do so safely. It targets issues such as conflicting Mixins or other code modifications, mods changing the same Minecraft systems, inefficient repeated scans and calculations, unnecessary allocations, and crashes or unstable interactions between mods. Rather than simply disabling a conflicting feature or hiding an error, it attempts to find a compatible or more efficient way for the affected mod to do its work; if it cannot identify a safe correction, it avoids making an unsafe change. The project is intended to improve areas including CPU use, frame stability, tick performance, memory use, loading behavior, and mod interaction stability, but it does not replace optimization mods that target Minecraft’s broader systems. Current preview builds contain only part of the planned design, so some systems may be incomplete or ineffective in a given modpack, and the mod does not promise compatibility with every combination of mods.
