About
Modular Routers is a modular automation mod for building compact systems that move and manipulate items around the world. Each router has a single-slot item buffer and runs its installed modules in order, letting one block combine tasks such as pulling from nearby or modded inventories, sending items near or far, placing or breaking blocks, dropping or vacuuming up items, flinging items, and accessing a player’s inventory. Modules can also sort items with configurable filters, void unwanted items, and extend or retract lines of blocks to create drawbridges. Filtering supports whitelist or blacklist rules and matching by metadata, NBT data, or Ore Dictionary; specialized filters can match up to 54 item types, inspect properties such as durability, energy, fluid level, or enchantments, and select items by their source mod. Up to nine modules can be installed in a router, and their settings can control direction, redstone behavior, and item-count limits, so a single router can perform a sequence of conditional operations. Upgrades can expand range or stack handling, transfer fluids, disguise a router as another block, reduce its sound and particle effects, or restrict who can access its interface.
