A modpack where you progress from the stone age to space.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 235 graded mods, 82 are graded A or B, 31 C and 122 D to F. Its last update came out 4.9 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
SevTech: Ages is a long-form progression modpack that guides players from the Stone Age toward space through hundreds of custom advancements, while retaining an open-ended sandbox experience. A new world begins with very few items and recipes, and even familiar resources, items, recipes, and interface features are progressively revealed as players advance through distinct ages. Progression also shapes the world: ores and items can remain hidden until unlocked, and new mobs appear in later stages. The pack includes a broad set of modded activities, from Totemic ceremonies and AbyssalCraft to automation and storage with Industrial Foregoing, Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, and Refined Storage, as well as Galacticraft exploration of other planets. Some systems are tailored to the pack’s progression, including a machine that crafts Galacticraft and Extra Planets schematics from resources gathered on planets, and custom staging and recipes that control when content becomes available. Multiplayer supports the same progression as solo play: advancement is tracked per player, and players can form teams with Together Forever to synchronize their progress.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 17 Dec 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 11 Dec 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 248 of its 249 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 248 of its 249 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 139 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
110 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
