ModularWarfare is a content-pack-based combat mod for single-player and multiplayer PvP or PvE, letting creators add guns, attachments, magazines, bullets, armor, and backpacks using plain-text JSON configurations rather than Minecraft modding. Its supplied example packs feature weapons including the AK-47, AK-74u, HK416, MP40, UZI, SKS, Mosin-Nagant, L115A3 AWM, VSS, SPAS-12, P88, Desert Eagle, M4A4, M24A2, and S1897, along with attachments, magazines, and bullets. Guns support animated actions such as drawing, aiming, firing, changing modes, inspecting, and staged reloads, with configurable sounds for reload and loading steps. Attachments can be fitted in groups such as barrels, sights, grips, flashlights, charms, ammunition, and stocks; their placement and scale can be configured, and installation can change which model parts are visible. The showcased content also includes AK skins, realistic scopes, attachment mode, custom inventory, and 3D armor and backpacks.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Changes the game's code in 2 areas, as a library other mods build on: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses..
Adds 52 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
