Build programmable computers and robots to automate tasks in your world.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
OpenComputers adds programmable computers and mobile machines to Minecraft, letting players write Lua programs to automate tasks and interact with the game world. Computers include stationary systems, portable tablets, compact microcontrollers and servers that can house four computers in one block, and their programs resume after the computer's chunk is unloaded and reloaded. Robots can move through the world, use tools and carry components, while more mobile drones can perform distinct actions such as leashing animals. Devices are built from modular parts, including tiered cases, screens, graphics and network cards, with higher tiers supporting progression toward faster, more capable systems. Additional components include motion sensors, redstone interfaces, hologram projectors that display voxel-based 3D images, and a 3D printer for creating decorative blocks with user-defined shapes. Computers connect components directly or through cables and wired or wireless network equipment, and can interact with vanilla and modded blocks through redstone interfaces or the Adapter. The Adapter exposes supported blocks as computer components, allowing programs to read information such as stored energy or issue commands such as playing notes on a note block. When compatible power mods are present, computers and some components require energy by default, but power requirements and other settings can be adjusted through configuration.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
Adds 5 sounds: Computer Running, Floppy Access, Floppy Eject, Floppy Insert and Hdd Access.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
