    About

    Ore Stages Reborn lets modpack makers tie access to selected blocks and ores to progression stages, hiding them or showing a substitute until a player reaches the required stage. For example, iron ore can appear as stone and grass as an oak log, while hidden blocks otherwise use stone or deepslate as their default substitute. Before unlocking a stage, players cannot interact with a restricted block; breaking it yields the substitute's drops and uses the substitute's digging speed. Pack makers can configure restrictions by block or detailed block state, using CraftTweaker or KubeJS scripts with SDM Stages handling progression.
